This live stream is new for the site, we are moving along and branching out. This feed when available you will see someone broadcasting live via the embedded video, you will be able to hears the person most times, though some times the sound will not be available.

If there is no live feed available you will see the stand tall image in place of the live feed.

Also we will be using this as a tool for some upcoming chat events, we hope this Beta test of this is a good one, it will determine if this will remain on the site.

This feed is not always available, but from time to time, myself, and my fellow Founders, will give time to this, weather it be a discussion live, or something as simple as just a day in the life of a person who suffers and SURVIVES mental illness.

    Welcome:

We at A Brilliant Madness (Brilly) would like to take a moment and welcome you to our support group. Take some time getting to know who we are and what we are all about on our forums and joining our chat room. We hope that you like what you see~!

Brilly is not run by professionals. We are people just like you, suffering from, living with, and overcoming mental illness. We are not an authority on mental illness nor are we trained professionals. What we do have is experience in dealing with our own illness and will gladly share with you our support and story.

All sections of this website are moderated. Our staff works diligently to ensure that only suitable and appropriate material appears within this website or in our chat rooms. The staff are however only human. If something that is generally considered unacceptable (and is against our guidelines), appears briefly overlooked, please accept our sincere apologies and bring it to our attention immediately. We request that everyone reads our guidelines in their entirety which are posted in the forums.

If you are in crisis, or are feeling suicidal, we strongly recommend you contact a crisis line, your doctor, therapist or a hospital immediately. Understand that many of the members at Brilly have been in crisis in the past as well, and being exposed to such stress may trigger them into a crisis also. We are not equipped or trained to deal with a person in crisis. We ask that if that situation occurs, you seek real professional help.

Most importantly, Brilly is about getting well. We are a group of people just like you, who are looking to get better every day. We feel that active participation in our own well-being is very important. We try our best not to wallow in our illness while not working towards our own health. Brilly is about moving forward and finding ways to live with, and overcome our illnesses, and through the strength and support of our members, and the friendships that we have formed here, we believe that we can do just that.

Thank you for joining us in our journey.
